Large Aragonite

These translucent crystal carbonate minerals come in browns and blues/grey. They grow in pseudo hexagonal shapes. Aragonite is a common mineral and can be found all over, even some marine animals such as corals and clams produce Aragonite. The surface of pearls is a layer of this calcium carbonate.
